Job Description

Part-time Groomer 

Summary

We are looking for a dependable, honest, kind and caring groomer who may be looking to learn and gain experience. At Chewzy Mobile Grooming, we believe in going beyond the call of duty, especially when it comes to our furry clients. We are looking for an individual who is sensitive to the pets needs and will take their physical, emotional, and social needs into consideration. It’s important to also feel comfortable with working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Join our team and you can earn commission and tips! We are also offering monthly bonuses through the end of September.

Requirements

• Must love dogs and exercise proper and safe handling skills.
• Comfortable caring for the dog from start to finish (nails, clean ears, brush teeth, bath, nails, de-shed, haircut, etc).
• Is able to apply what is learned and thrives doing independent work.  
• A clean driving record and are comfortable driving a high profile grooming van with side running boards. Watch the curb when you park.
• Stellar customer service with the ability to communicate efficiently with clients. 
• You go the extra mile and know when a dog might need a walk or a treat (with pet parents’ permission of course). 

Preferred

• Grooming school trained and certified
